What differentiates BASP from other business analytics courses?

The Business Analytics Summer Program (BASP) takes the student on a journey to solve a business problem using real data that the student teams will collect and analyze. There is no other course like this being offered in the market today.

The BASP is designed specifically for high school students. Whether your student is set on pursuing a career in data analytics and/or business, or is just beginning to develop an interest in learning more about these topics, this program provides an enriching experience that will set your student apart from others as they prepare to enter college.

The program will culminate with a final day of presentations where parents and other guests will be invited.

How much does the program cost and when is it offered?

This is a 2-week long day program that runs from July 24 to August 4, 2023.

The program will start at 9:30 am and go until 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

The cost of the program is $2,495. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required by May 15th to hold a space in the program. The balance of $1,995 is due by May 30th.

All you need is your own laptop with the Microsoft Excel software.

Lunch and other supplies will be provided (included in the program cost).

There are NO additional fees or expenses.

What skills will my student obtain after attending BASP?

Regardless of the industry, employers are looking for skilled individuals who can analyze data in a business setting. The opportunities in this area are only going to grow in the foreseeable future. Not only will students be introduced to gathering and analyzing real data, they will also learn how to effectively work in teams to solve a business problem and will be able to effectively communicate the results of their analysis orally with well-developed visuals.

Although BASP is hosted on Babson’s campus, it has NO affiliation with the college.
